Hedman Bridals

From the time they inquired, to the video chat, I knew this was going to be very sentimental, maybe even more than your average wedding day. I wasn’t wrong!
They shared how their love story began with a mutual friend who exchanged numbers for them. Brittany and Andrew are both a little on the shy side, so this worked perfect for them! Andrew did not hesitate when he got those digits! They started talking right away and from what I could see, things fell together perfectly. Like a couple of puzzle pieces, if you will.
On the day of their wedding, I arrived to Balboa park early. It was a beautiful Saturday with the amazing coastal breeze of San Diego. I went to go find my couple and when I did, the first words out of Andrew's mouth when coming up to him and Brittany were, “Isn’t she beautiful?”. Swoon!! She definitely is.
We started our session in front of the big Casa Del Prado theater doors. Talk about breathtaking!! At one point a police officer went on his intercom and wished the couple a lifetime of happiness and love. It was the sweetest thing!
Continuing through the park, getting tons of congratulations from passerby’s to the newlyweds, we wandered up the stairs, to the botanical garden, by the lily pond and out to the magical arched walkways. There, we were pleasantly greeted by a homeless man who sang My Girl by The Temptations to Andrew and Brittany. I was dying laughing the whole time and it made for some good smiles in the photos.
Towards the end we headed over to the rose garden for a little seclusion and quiet. It did not disappoint. The roses smelled and looked amazing! Perfectly complimenting Andrew and Brittany looking their absolute best on a day they will remember and cherish for years to come.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!!
